Rather overawed but keen to please and eventually moved steadily round the ring, masculine head, large eyes, gentle expression, good bone and feet, short coupled with balanced angulation.

2nd Fox’s Lynmily Mister Blue Sky
Lovely type and temperament, balanced outline, flat skull, large dark eyes, melting expression, good length of neck, moderate bone, compact feet, not the topline of winner, happy and positive on the move.

One I have judged previously, a super type, compact and short coupled with an excellent temperament, his tail never stops wagging, soundly constructed with balanced angulation of shoulder and hindquarters, masculine head, gentle expression, moved soundly.

Flat skull, well feathered long ears, sweet expression, large dark eye, good length of neck, well sprung rib, moderate bone, presented in good coat and condition.

Blenheim, super unexaggerated type, impressed for size, bone and correct length of foreleg, masculine head, flat skull, large expressive eyes, excellent pigment, short-coupled and compact body, muscular neck, level back, well broken marking, desirable lozenge, deep rich chestnut and pearly white silky coat, sound out and back with precise reach and excellent drive from his well angulated muscular hindquarters, RBD & BPIS.
2nd Leach’s Queenslake Quinn
A very fluffy immature baby in comparison to the first, high set ears, dark eyes, good pigment, balanced angulation of fore and hindquarters, tail carriage needs to settle, erratic and uncoordinated on the move just needs time to settle.

Typical throughout, attractive masculine head, flat skull, appealing gentle expression, correct length of muzzle, large eyes, good pigment, body well developed and compact, good depth of brisket and spring of rib, sound on the move but a little close behind, well-presented silky textured coat.

Short coupled with a beautiful head, correct skull, high set well feathered ears, large dark eyes, gentle expression, good depth of brisket and spring of rib, correct tail set and carriage, needs to strengthen in hindquarters, well-presented silky coat.

A most typical ruby whom I judged at Wolsingham recently, previous remarks apply, he won this class with his sound animated movement, in super coat and, as usual from this exhibitor, beautiful presented and conditioned.

Black & Tan, balanced compact outline, masculine head, beautiful large dark eye and melting expression, correct bone, on the move I would prefer more rear drive, coat rather curly.

Blenheim quality, short coupled young dog, unexaggerated and soundly constructed, scored highly for size, bone and foreleg length, his outline is compact, body firm muscular and well developed with an excellent spring of rib width and depth of chest, level topline, correct tail set and carriage, he was beautifully presented with well broken markings, super lozenge, richest chestnut and pearly white silky coat, masculine head, flat skull with correct depth of stop, high set well feathered ears, tapered muzzle, dark pigmentation, large round expressive eyes, correct dentition, on the move sound and animated, very attentive and responsive to handler, super confident, outgoing temperament, his tail never stopped wagging BD & BIS
2nd Walker’s Stavonga Sky Walker Kayceekay JW OSW ShCEx
Larger Blenheim whom I have judged previous, now fully mature and in excellent coat and condition, strong masculine head, well feathered high set ears, slight stop, moderate length of neck, well laid shoulder, firm level back, well angulated stifles, moved soundly with good drive, beautifully presented.

Difficult decision between first and second, I thought them both excellent, ultra feminine, beautifully balanced head, high set well feathered ears, large lustrous dark eyes, good pigmentation, correct dentition, good spring of rib, firm level topline, stylish, positive and sound on the move.

My thanks to the Northern CKCSS for asking me to judge their Special Award Classes and to all exhibitors for allowing me to judge such lovely dogs, thanks also to my 2 stewards Sue & Trish for keeping everything running smoothly.
Special Award Puppy (D or B) (2 Entries, 1 Absent)  
1st Rix’s Ricksbury Roosevelt
Well presented 10 month blenheim of good quality, lovely headed dog with soft expression and nice dark eyes and well set ears, good dark pigment. Good reach of neck flowing to well laid shoulders ,nice spring of ribcage level topline, short coupled and correct tailset, good front, well angulated rear quarters moved true around the ring with ease, soft textured coat of good length and colour, showed well for his owner (Awarded Reserve Best Dog and Best Puppy in Show by main show judge)

1st Kilcoyne’s Granasil Bird In The Hand
Lovely black/tan bitch, nicely shaped head with soft expression, dark eyes and well set ears, good dark pigment, nice reach of neck down to well laid shoulders, good front, well sprung ribcage, nice overall body shape with level topline and good tailset moved well around the ring. Coat in good condition showed and presented well.

Blenheim dog of good quality, lovely head and well set ears with nicely arched neck, well laid shoulders, nice ribcage, level topline, short coupled with good tailset, just need to settle while on the move today.

Have loved this blenheim girl from outside the ring and was not disappointed when given the chance to assess her many qualities. Good head shape with soft expression and dark eyes, dark pigment, well set ears lovely reach of neck with well laid shoulders, nice ribcage, short coupled with well angulated rear quarters, lovely topline which she kept on the move, well set tail, soft textured coat of good colour, showed and presented very well by her owner. (Later to be awarded Reserve Best Bitch by main show judge)
2nd Taylor’s Revdvicki Heavenly Chance Loranka
Tri dog lovely head soft expression with lovely dark eyes, arched neck with good well laid shoulders, good front and rear quarters moved true around the ring, well balanced good topline, coat in great condition well presented, overall a lovely shape.
