Special Beginners (4 Entries, 1 Absent)
1st Chadwick’s Cavallibrook Why Oh Why
A varied class which saw this 2 yr old blenheim bitch come out on top. I would like to see more neck but she appealed for overall type and is soundly constructed all through. Quality head with delightful expression; excellent skull, dark round eyes, well feathered ears set on high and good fill below the eyes. Firm topline, well ribbed back and tail good for set and carriage. Pleasing angles front and rear, moving true on the down and back and with good carriage. Best Special Beginners.
2nd Jackson’s Fortunamajor Perseus
Showy 11½ mth old tricolour dog who pleased in outline with firm level topline and good tail carriage and he scored over 1 in neck. Nicely proportioned head with good eye and ear and correct dentition but overall preferred expression of winner. Nicely angulated forequarters and stands well naturally in front. Moves out well on the go around and very good coming towards but winner had the edge when going away.
3rd Liverton-Ovey’s Chantismere Conchetta for Halosey JW (IKC)
Minor Puppy (2, 0)
1st Mynott’s Honeybet Hamilton
Just coming up to 9 mths, this blenheim boy pleased for type and presented a lovely outline. Slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, level back, short in the couplings and tail good for set and carriage. Attractive head and expression with lovely dark eyes which are well-filled below and ears set on well. Nice layback of shoulder with particularly good return of upper arm and he moved out well when viewed in profile and was true when coming towards. Good quality coat. Best Puppy Dog.
2nd Mackenzie’s Carsan in Your Dreams
6 mth old black/tan who also pleased for outline with moderate length of neck, firm level topline, good length to ribcage and tail set and carried correctly. Head of good proportions, ears set on high, eyes of good colour but not quite shape of those of 1 and lacking sufficient fill right now. Good dentition. He moves out nicely on the go around and has a super firm rear which is parallel when gaiting. Elbows could be closer to the chest.
Puppy (3, 0)
1st Walker’s Carsan Richie Rich
10 mth old tricolour who presented a good outline and was pleasing for size. Very good neck, level topline with nice rib development for age, short loin and tail correct for both set and carriage. Head of correct proportions with good skull, dark eyes but could be a tad bigger, ears set on high and good fill below the eyes. Shoulders well laid back and stands well in front. Moves true fore and aft. Well handed.

3rd Vella’s Miletree Morse at Cinderaic NAF
Junior (5, 1)
1st Long’s Arroline Kryptonite JW
17 mth tricolour dog who was so good to go over given his correct construction. Slightly arched neck of moderate length, firm topline, excellent ribbing and nice and short in the couplings. Quality head with super expression; dark round eyes with good fill below and well feathered ears set on high. Good angles both front and rear, elbows close to the body, straight forelegs and with nice forechest. Gaits freely all through with acceptable tail carriage and uses himself as he goes. Presented in super coat and condition.
2nd Bubb’s Wandris Speak Of The Devil
This 12 mth old blenheim is a true toy spaniel. He has a super outline with neck of correct length to balance, firm level back, short loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Most attractive head with good skull to muzzle proportions, super eye and ear, good fill below the eyes and scissor bite. Pleasing angulation both ends and he stands true in front. When gaiting, he moved out well with good carriage. He’s at the teenager stage right now and just needs to fill his frame. Well marked.

Post Graduate (4, 1)
1st Stanton’s Cassandy Bruce Banner
3 yr old black/tan who carries nice bone and was good to go over. I would like a tad more length of neck but he is firm in topline with a good spring of rib, nice short loin and tail correct for set and carriage. Pleasing head with good proportions, eyes of good colour, ears set on high and well filled below the eyes. Standing nice and straight in front and goes well on the down and back. Good coat and lovely rich tan.
2nd Lewis’ Carleeto Cutie Pie JW
21 mth old ruby who was also good to go over. He has a lovely neck which gives balance, level back and good ribbing but tail carried somewhat higher. Nicely proportioned head with good skull, well feathered ears set on high, very nice eye but would like a tad more fill to the face. Shoulders well laid back, elbows close to the body and stands straight in front. When gaiting, he goes well on the go around and is true when coming towards but winner had the edge in rear. Good coat.
3rd Chernukhin’s Miletree Endeavour

1st Cox’s Fujairah Eric Morecambe ShCEx
4 yr old blenheim who pleased for overall type and outline and carries nice bone. Moderate length of neck, level topline, good length to ribcage and tail set and carried correctly. Attractive head and expression with ears set on high, eyes of good shape and dark enough and well filled below. Moves true when coming and going but would like to see a tad more reach in front on the go around. Nicely marked. Well handled.
2nd Lock & Thomas’ Bowfort Bo Jo
Blenheim just coming up to 5 yrs who was rather distracted and therefore did not give his all. He pleased for size, has a nice length of neck, firm topline, short in the couplings and good tail carriage but overall felt winner had the edge in outline. Nicely proportioned head with good skull, ears set on high, scored in eye over those of winner and good fill below. When settled he moved out freely.
3rd Mangham’s Brymarden Touch Of Gold of Charnavale

2 yr old blenhiem who greatly appealed and was super to go over. He presents a beautifully balanced outline with slightly arched neck of moderate length which flows smoothly into well-laid shoulders, firm level back, first class ribbing, nice short loin and tail correct for set and carriage. Quality head, masculine but with the gentle expression so essential in the breed; dark round eyes, feathered ears set on high, good fill below the eyes and correct dentition. Soundly constructed all through with particularly impressive front assembly. On the move, he is true on the down and back and quite something on the go around and uses himself at all times. Excellent coat and presentation. CC & BOB.

Some nice bitches present here with this 11 mth old blenheim coming out on top. Certainly what I would describe as a ‘toy spaniel’ and I thought her a super type and she was a delight to go over. Slightly arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, lovely rib for age and tail of good carriage. Feminine headpiece with the best of expressions, ears set on high, dark round eyes which are well-filled below and good dentition. Good angles front and rear and she really moves out on the go around. Good quality coat and very well marked. Best Puppy.

Moderate length of neck which is slightly arched and flows into well laid shoulders, firm topline, excellent ribbing and nice short loin. Beautiful headpiece with good skull, correct proportions, best of eyes and ears and face well filled below the eyes. Feminine headpiece with good skull, dark round expressive eyes, well feathered ears set on well, good fill below the eyes and scissor bite but would just like a fraction more length to muzzle. She is well constructed front and rear and moved parallel on the down and back and carries herself well. Presented in super condition with a correct silky coat and lovely rich tan.

This 16 mth old blenheim was another who appealed, scoring for overall type and what a happy showgirl she is! Quality head with feminine expression; skull almost flat between her high set, feathered ears, super eye for shape, colour and set, face well filled below the eyes and correct dentition.
