Dogs Mrs A Stocks (Rebinya)
Many thanks to the society for giving me the opportunity to judge the breed I love so much. Also, thanks to my able stewards who kept the ring running under such appalling conditions. Last but not least may I thank each and every exhibitor who braved the conditions to bring their dogs out on the day. How you manged to keep the presentation up in all the mud and rain was amazing.
Unfortunately, due to the condition of the ring movement was hard to assess but some coped better than others. We just managed to complete the judging, with a little ring adjustment, before our ring completely disappeared under a sea of mud.

1st Chapman & Ireland’s Ch Ellemich American Express
This well-known blen dog headed a lovely class of worthy champions and it was a pleasure to judge. He won this class with his superb showmanship. He has the most beautiful but masculine head with the darkest of eyes and a melting expression, long well feathered ears and dark pigment all adding to the picture. Today for me his neck and shoulders stood out giving him a graceful outline. He has the most beautiful shape both standing and, on the move, carrying himself with grace. He seemed to have dropped a little weight and coat today which, in my opinion worked in his favour. DCC & BOB
