Dogs Miss G Greenall (Charlesworth)
I would like to thank the Midland Counties President, Officers and the Committee for the invitation to judge at their most friendly, well-organised, championship show and for their kind hospitality. I certainly enjoyed judging my beloved breed, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Thanks must go to my able stewards, who were efficient and kept the ring running smoothly. In addition, thanks must go to all of the exhibitors who entered.
I was looking for the large, dark, round eyes and the gentle soft expression. It was sad to see that some lacked these. Movement was disappointing, some were very close behind and rather wide in front. In addition, some dogs lacked good strong hind action. Presentation on the whole was very good, however, it was a shame that a couple of dogs had staining on their legs and tails, and a few had dirty teeth. On a good note, I was very pleased with all of my winners, including my top winners.
