Dogs Mr P Towse (Miletree)
I thank the club sincerely for this invitation to judge at their special 45th Breed Championship Show. I was greatly honored by the exhibitors who had entered from far and a field for my opinion of their dogs.
I liked the idea of a collecting ring getting the next class ready for me whilst I was critiquing the last class. It saved time and went smoothly and efficiently. Thank you also for my two excellent ring stewards that ran the ring perfectly. In a Dog I was looking for a handsome, glamorous but masculine type, with the all-important large dark round eyes. Good size and balance with correct bone. With a profile that showed off reach of neck, level top line and correct tail set, held level on the move. At the same time being able to move adequately coming and going, as comes with good construction. In the bitches, I was looking for that pretty feminine expression together with all the above points. I had a lovely entry of quality dogs and bitches. so I was very pleased with my line up, many having most of the qualities that I was looking for.
