The CKCS Club would like to inform members that at the 2021 AGM the following additional rule was agreed by the members present. The KC have subsequently agreed the rule can be added to the Club’s rules and constitution. Therefore the Club’s Associate Membership Scheme will launch on 1 September 2021.
Associate Membership — Candidates who are not known to any Club members but wish to apply for membership of the Club may complete an application form for Associate Membership. No proposer or seconder is required. They will not have voting rights but will share all other the benefits of membership. After two years, Associate Members can complete a form to apply for full membership, proposed and seconded by 2 fully paid-up members of not less than two years’ standing and to whom they are personally known. Conversion to Full Membership with immediate full voting rights is subject to the Committee’s approval.
