Dogs Miss Zuzana Novakova (Prokopska Hvezda – Czech)
First of all, I would like to express a big thanks to comittee for the invitation to judge at this show. It was a big pleasure for me. Thank to all exhibitors, who came despite of really bad weather conditions, torrential rain and strong wind.
I loved all my winners, congratulation on their owners and breeders. I would like to say, in general, by bitches was much bigger competition and higher quality than by dogs. I was really happy, when I saw the line up of all class winner bitches. All of them could win. I completely fell in love to limit class winner bitch, who became RBIS and BOS – Carolus Miss Elsie. By dogs I would prefer smaller size, tailset and tailcarriage. My heart was stolen, when came to the ring lovely BH male of great quality, who finally became BIS – Melrose Dalton.

Jean & John Grant Memorial Special Award Classes  –  Judge:  Mrs J Nolan (Jernito)
Thank you to the friendly Humberside committee for my invitation to judge their special awards classes. Having previously been a member of the committee I understand how special Jean & John Grant were to the creation of the club. I was delighted with the support the members gave me as an up and coming judge and the quality of the dogs delighted me and many beautiful dogs left the ring without an award.
Special Award Puppy D or B (12 Entries, 4 Absent) What a great way to start the day I was spoilt for choice!
1st Claydon’s Brymarden Touch And Go
What a lovely sweet natured Blenheim bouncy puppy with that hint of cheekiness, I had to stop myself from giving her a kiss. Flat skull, dark eyes giving a gentle expressionwith symmetrical markings, lovely to see a real balanced outline with plenty of neck and that stood out in the class today. Immaculately presented true silky coat that was well broken, short coupled with good turn of stifle and just the right amount of bone for her size. It was on the move that she stole the class, true sound movement and lovely rear action , keeping her toplineon the move. For a youngster she really has it all. I will watch her career with interest!
2nd Brown’s Peakdowns Kaitlin
Had many litter mates in the class with her today, but for me on the day this girl stood out a really sweet expression here with lovely dark eyes, I liked her outline and she had the neck to give her elegance in profile and on the move, I liked her shape and make & she moved positively.
3rd Taylor’s Peakdowns Rosa
Res Saxton’s Charnavale Lucy Locket of Marlrose
VHC Parsons’ Anjomil Over The Moon
Special Award Graduate D or B (14, 3)
1st Parson’s Peakdowns Marcopolo at Anjomil JW
This 18 month old Blenheim boy has become a really glamourous dog. Lovely large soulful eyes, clean bright white on his symmetrical head markings, scissor bite, lovely flat skull and correct ear set with well feathered ears, he has a lovely neck and outline. He has good bone and a soft and silky well broken coat and moves well. Along with other boys in the class his tail was proud today but his quality couldn’t be denied.
2nd Inglis’ Craigowl Copacabana
Such a lot to like here. A really beautiful head shape with a plenty of fill under the eyes, darkest pigment and lovely dark eyes, nice short coupled body with a great spring of rib. Lots of long silky well broken coat. Moved well ,just lacking in animation today.

Special Award Open D or B (8, 2)
1st Kynaston’s Granasil Vontrap JW
What a Stallion of Dog! This black and tan boy is such a showman a little bigger than I would normally like but his quality cannot be denied. Lovely masculine head with bright tan markings and luscious dark eyes and good pigment, such a good outline when stood and on the move and with plenty of muscle and a good spring of rib, fantastic topline and excelled on the move, which was a joy to watch, with his glamorous silky coat swishing, he wanted to win the class and was happy to complete the picture, I couldn’t deny him!
2nd Claydon’s Brymarden Breeze
Had to accept second place today as was happy to play up her handlers, what a shame! She is beautiful, such big round lipid eyes that you fall into, coat of exceptional quality that is well broken, great make andbone and turn of stifle, I could of taken her home!
