Dogs Mr K Li (Avalcier)
It was lovely to be amongst so many of our beloved breed again after my temporary absence from the show ring. Thank you to all the exhibitors who came under me and sportingly took my decisions. I was pleased with my winners who shone through but concerned with the lack of quality in some of the bitches which is somewhat worrying for the breed.

Best Puppy Dog Levy & Sedgwick’s Pascavale Douglas

Minor Puppy (9 Entries, 2 Absent)
1st Levy & Sedgwick’s Pascavale Douglas
A blen of 8 months. Very together for one so young. Lovely head and shape with a round rump. Well coated and angulated, with reach and drive, holding his topline to make him the best mover in his class. Love his type. One to watch who should have a bright future. BPD, BP
2nd Thomas’ Cathmead Over The Rainbow
An immature blen of a nice size. Well marked, rich in colour with dark pigment. Head needs to mature and coat to come. Positive mover with excellent tail carriage.

Junior (5, 2)
1st Wileman & Bott’s Granasil Trick Or Treat for Narvidar
Attractive looking B/T of a nice size. Coat in superb condition. Typey, lovely head with round expressive eyes. Showed attentively and moved well in profile, needed to be more positive in rear. Happy temperament.
2nd Biggs’ Pauroi Top Man at Kellorian
Well broken blen with coat of correct texture, markings well defined. Handsome and masculine with good bone. Muscled and sound in body. Moved solidly round the ring.
3rd Boileaubennett’s Deloncreax Empire Of The Sun
Yearling (6, 2)
1st Levy & Sedgwick’s Ch Pascavale Haiden
A young blen who caught my eye as a puppy and did not disappoint today. Worthy of his title as he displays so much of the desirable features of the breed. Well filled delightful head, correct foreface and furnished ears. His well constructed body with correct angulations, good neck and shoulders, displayed the ideal balance. Was undeniably the best mover of the day, steady and flowed round with excellent tail carriage. A non-stop show boy who deserved to be my star of the day. CC, BOB
2nd Stahl, Arrowsmith & Vorderstrasse’s Keep On Loving You vom Kaninchengarten
Another typey, quality exhibit, ideal size and in tip top condition. Very pleasing soft expression. Good rear angulation giving drive with a neat outline. Just preferred the overall balance and shape of the winner.

2nd Owen’s Hansowens Rising Star
A quality B/T with a wealth of well groomed coat. Attractive in head with good tan. Pleasing profile and good overall balance. Although still wagging, did not appear too happy today so could have moved with more enthusiasm.
3rd Cox’s Pennygown Private Dancer
Graduate (3, 1)
1st Conneally’s Coedgwylum Hot Duchess
Pretty blen with dark nose pigment and an endearing expression due to luscious eyes. Nicely marked with a well developed and well made body. Not in the best of coat and a little tentative on the move.
2nd Glenn’s Korolevsky Rosichka at Lilorchard
A narrower blaze did not detract from this pleasingly headed tri. Nice type and ideal in size. Coat needs a little more attention, albeit it can be difficult in this colour. Lost attention at times but moved well.
Post Graduate (6, 0)

2nd Lewis’ Carleeto Nikita
Richly coloured ruby with an exuberant character, so much so that it sometimes detracts from her expression when she is panting. Large eyes and nice tight lips. A little longer cast, hence not the balance of the winner. Moved happily.
