Dogs Mr J Blewett (Othmese)
I would like to thank the committee for my invitation to judge at this prestigious show; all exhibitors and my excellent stewards. I had my first Cavalier in 1971 & judged my first Open show in 1983; exhibited until mid 80’s; I am known for my King Charles Spaniels of which I have made up Champions under affix ‘OTHMESE’. And have owned since 1972. During this period I have seen many changes in the Cavaliers, some good & some not so good. Although this entry was small in numbers, it was a quality entry, but I cannot say it was reflective of the breed in general. All my main winners fitted my interpretation of the breed standard. All Cavaliers exhibited today were in good condition & well presented.;
