Veteran (7 Entries, 2 Absent) Nice to judge so many good oldies.
1st Koster’s Ch Harana Alfie Boe
Black and Tan in superb coat and condition, soft expression with nicely cushioned muzzle, large dark round eyes, correct ear set, moved very well with gaiety and verve, keeping a good top line at all times, he definitely does not look his 7 and a half years, I think he’s getting better and better just like a fine wine! In my last four for the cc and Best Veteran In Show
2nd Mangham’s Maibee Perfect Touch of Charnavale JW
Blenheim nearly 10 years old, have always admired him, very sweet expression, nice neck and well placed shoulders, level top line, moved with drive, another in great condition, unlucky to meet 1 today.

VHC Tarlton’s Tonmil Phantom Cream
Minor Puppy (5, 4)
1st Crossley’s Tameline Dante
Tricolour of just 6 months, correct outgoing temperament, nice size, good dark eyes with enough fill, correct we’ll set ears, good crest of neck, enhanced by his big white collar and blackest coat shame he didn’t stay for the challenge
Puppy (9, 1)
1st Hughes’ Loranka’s Glory Days
Stood out for me with his lovely outline, large dark eyes and sweet expression enhanced by his well set ears and well filled muzzle, followed on with a great neck with crest and well placed shoulders, moved well both ways and looked good in profile going round with a little more confidence, should have an exciting future, however was happy and interested and was BPIS.
2nd Crane’s Cranvarl Washington
Loved the head on this one, very pleasing expression, nice size, well placed shoulders, didn’t move with as much verve as I’ve seen him and wasn’t as animated as 1, learnt that he’d been subject to an incident in the ring, unfortunate.

Res Koster’s Harana Jarvis Cocker
VHC Rogerson’s Rabymar Crimson Moon

Beautifully headed tricolour, from his well filled muzzle, and limpid dark eyes which were the correct round shape, well set ears, sweetest of expression, short coupled body, ideal size, heavier marked and nicely made all through and consequently moved very well from his well let down hocks, well presented coat which was a lovely texture.
2nd Tracz’s Guns N Roses Snukraina Pol Sch
Heavy marked blenheim, correct gently tapered muzzle, large round eyes, pleasing expression, correct skull being almost flat, good neck and well placed shoulders, was a picture on the move, drove well from behind and and parallel on the return, really liked this exhibit, very sound and happy temperament.

Ideally marked Blenheim, dark eyes and well filled muzzle and black pigment, well placed shoulders and well laid shoulders, looked good on the move, just needs a bit more finish to complete the picture.
2nd Bell’s Chistabella Picasso ShCM
Beautifully headed Blenheim, excels in head carriage, lovely expression and great neck, difficult to assess his overall movement as he’s so naughty but he got his placing on being a good specimen, could do a lot more if schooled! Very happy though!

Well marked Blenheim with a rich chestnut jacket and real pearly white background, loved his head and gorgeous expression, large dark round expressive limpid eyes, clear cut markings with good clarity, very stylish on the move showing his crested neck and well placed shoulders, liked his correct length of leg, coat of good texture, just needs a little more of it, nevertheless in my last four for the CC.
2nd Rix’s Ricksbury Poldark JW
Well marked Blenheim with a rich chestnut jacket, who was an ideal size, correct head and pleasing expression, dark round eyes, in lovely condition, kept a level top line and had a well crested neck and good shoulders but gave his handler a hard time today.

1st Hegarty’s Chantismere Conquistador
Ideally marked tricolour with text book markings, I have often admired him from the ringside and was pleased he didn’t disappoint. On perfect form today from his large dark round eyes and almost flat skull, correct expression not being overdone in any way, lovely clarity, well placed shoulders and short coupled well ribbed body, has neat well let down hocks, moved with verve and style keeping a level topline and well set and tail carried perfectly behind, he is a lovely size and has the correct moderate bone, nothing being too much with this boy, fits the standard to a tee, beautifully presented and showed his lovely happy cavalier temperament, was pleased to award him the CC and with my co-judge Res BIS.

Bitches Mrs A Jones (Timsar)
My sincere thanks to the Committee for inviting me to judge. My thanks also to my efficient stewards Alan and Joyce and most importantly to the exhibitors. My condolences to the overseas exhibitors who could not change their travel arrangements and those who had to work, but I must congratulate the committee on making the difficult decision to rearrange the show date. The majority of the exhibits were new to me and from the quality of the entry overall it bodes well for the future. There were however some with very short muzzles, this may look "cute" but is not correct as per the breed standard.
Lastly please remember that dog showing is supposed to be a hobby, whilst you may not win under one judge you may very well receive top honours the next time you show your dog. At the end of the day we all take the best dog home with us!!

Well laid shoulders, well angulated front and rear assembly, level topline which she maintained both when standing and moving.

Delightful expression, due to her dark eyes, correct length of muzzle and ear placement. Gentle crest to her neck leading into well angulated front, enough spring of rib and short loin. Well angulated and muscled rear assembly which she used to good effect. I preferred her spirit level topline which she maintained at all times and her excellent movement to that of her more mature litter mate who I placed third.

Richly marked Blenheim well presented as all from this kennel are. Pleasing head and expression. Sufficient neck and well angulated front and rear. Not as positive as 1 when moving.
