The Open Show will be followed with a health fundraising fun packed social evening in the marquee so prepare to get your "eyes down" and check out your "legs 11" with a few games of bingo with CASH PRIZES up for grabs!!

HOG ROAST with all the trimmings – apple sauce, crackling. Followed by more fun & games with "Intro Charades" etc.

You will need to book your Hog Roast using the entry form for the Show whether you enter or not – £6.50 per head – the more the merrier!

09:30 – Judging to commence.
12:30 – Lunch will be served.
13:30 – Judging will re-commence.

The competitions are to be judged on a ‘match’ format by a panel of 3 JUDGES:
Mark Sedgwick, Brian Townsend and Howard Ogden.

NEW QUALIFICATIONS FOR 2014 – the Best Puppy in Show and Best in Show from Cavalier Breed Club Open Shows is now included along with the Veteran Class winners at Cavalier Breed Club Championship Shows. These are added to Minor Puppy & Puppy Class winners, Best Puppy in Breed at Championship Shows, CC & Reserve CC winners with the year running from the Northern CKCS on 4 August 2013 to Leeds Championship Show on 27 July 2014.

There are currently 40 puppies entered, for that reason, there will not need to be a draw, and all puppy entries that have been sent in will be included in the competition. Tickets will not be sent out but can be collected on the day and those people who sent SAEs will have them returned on the day.

£50 cash prize for The Puppy, The Cavalier & The Veteran Of The Year.

Admission is by ticket only (£25) and includes a hot drink & bacon sandwich on arrival, followed by judging of puppies, delicious hot & cold buffet lunch; followed by the exciting spectacle of Cavalier of the Year. Enjoy a lovely piece of cake and another hot drink watching the Golden Oldies compete for the new Veteran of the Year.

We are pleased to announce that animal photographer Tracy Morgan will again be in attendance to take photos of your dogs. This will be the last Cavalier Club event this year that Tracy will be at, so why not get your Year Book photos done early? Tracy is still available for private photographic sessions.
